A really good little place, we were there late and I think the hostess was ready to go home, Curt would be a generous word for her service and attitude but the food was amazing.
Great food and served pretty quickly considering how busy. Staff were great and seemed very happy. This restaurant was doing a great job respecting and following COVID guidelines and still allowing “dining-in”. Tonight we enjoyed orange chicken, #4, potstickers and wontons!!!
So heres my thought. Is it the best Asian food I've ever had? Maybe not. I'm fairly certain I've made better, but that's a lot of work and Joy Kitchen is reliably tasty, fast, and economic. When I have a craving for Asian fare it's one of the first places I think of because I know I'm going to enjoy it. Haven't had a bad experience yet. Sesame seed chicken is fantastic.
You can't beat the price of their lunch specials. The food is good and it's never busy. Food comes out FAST, usually before we even finish our soup! We eat here often, and would definitely recommend it!
We've lived in Canby for just over two years and have been dining at Joy Kitchen pretty regularly since then. The food is always served hot (temperature wise), quickly, and it's delicious! The sweet and sour chicken is my absolute favorite but all of the chicken dishes are good. I absolutely love the broccoli beef as well. The staff is friendly and assertive... You just can't go wrong with this place! :)
I used to stop in on the regular before covid hit but hadn't been in since. My friend decided to treat my son and I to dinner along with her family so we went in and ordered. While we waited we went to the back and played the video poker. Very relaxed atmosphere. The entire restaurant, from to back (lottery room) was very clean, and well maintained. We ordered two number 3s (broccoli beef, bbq pork, rice, crab puffs) and three number 6s (chow mein, fried shrimp, and sweet and sour chicken) and the food was just as incredible as the last time I had been in. Larger portions so we were able to have half for dinner and the rest for lunch the following day. Friendly staff and well priced.
This place was so good, portions are huge and we loved that, being able to take some of that yummy food home was a plus. The sweet and sour pork was my husband's favorite! Also a lot of the dishes comes with steam rice I asked for Pork fried rice instead and it is only a .50 charge Not Bad! Joy Kitchen thank you for such an enjoyable dinner you will be the good to place!
